Rapid Bucharest – CFR Cluj, the game that closes round #7 from the Superliga play-off, was contested on Monday evening in Giulesti, in a tense match. In the 33rd minute, CFR Cluj benefited from a controversial penalty, converted by Andrei Cordea, which made the score 2-0 for the Transylvanians.
Andrei Cordea, former FCSB player, converted without emotion, beating Marian Aioani and increasing the difference to 2-0 for CFR Cluj.

The key moment of the game came in the 33rd minute, when CFR Cluj benefited from a controversial kick from 11 meters.
In an action where Tobias Christensen dueled with Muhar inside the box, the Danish midfielder got to the fore and fell over the ball, which hit his support hand. The game initially continued, but after a few seconds, touch referee George Neacșu intervened and signaled the phase to the center Florin Andrei. Following the discussion between the two officials, the referee went back on the decision and awarded a penalty to CFR Cluj.
