A column of the Wagner PMC was defeated in Mali; according to preliminary data, at least 20 Wagner members were killed
The convoy was ambushed by Tuaregs in African Mali during a joint operation with the Malian army.
The jihadists used several powerful IEDs to stop the convoy's advance, as well as a car bomb. During the subsequent battle, several pieces of equipment were shot down, as well as a Mi-24 helicopter that was trying to cover the Russian fighters.
At least 20 PMC soldiers were killed, and an unknown number were captured. Among the dead is a famous Russian military correspondent, author of the Gray Zone channel with the call sign “Bely.” They are trying to exchange prisoners.
