
User of the Ukrainian culinary portal Cookpad Inna Tsimbalist explained how to prepare delicious donuts.
“My family really loves pampushki with garlic spread for borscht, main courses and even tea. I cook with great pleasure,” the user noted.
Ingredients:
- 150 ml milk;
- 150 ml water;
- 10 g sugar;
- 12 g (or fresh: 20 g) dry yeast;
- one egg;
- 450 g wheat flour;
- 5 g salt;
- 50 ml vegetable oil;
- five to six cloves of garlic (squeeze through a press);
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil for spreading;
- 2 tbsp. l. dill (frozen or fresh).
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix milk, water, sugar and yeast. Cover with film and leave for 15–20 minutes to activate.
- Add egg, salt, gradually sifted flour. Knead, add vegetable oil, knead the dough.
- Place the dough in a warm place for one to one and a half hours to rise.
- Grease your hands with vegetable oil, form donuts of 90 g each, place in a greased mold with a diameter of 22 cm.
- Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes in a warm place.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C with convection, place a baking tray with boiling water on the bottom. Bake the donuts for 25 minutes on medium level.
- Mix garlic, vegetable oil and dill. Grease the finished donuts with spread and cover with film for 15 minutes.
