“I faced some discomforts”

Ianis Hagi (27 years old) explained the reason why he was not part of his batch Alanyaspor in the match of the last stage, lost at home with Samsunsporscore 2-3. The Romanian international faced some physical discomforts, but now he is back in training and is ready for the derby with Antalyaspor from Sunday.
Alanyaspor will play away to Antalyaspor on Sunday, May 3, from 22:00, in the 32nd leg in Turkey.

Alanyaspor posted on the official Instagram account a photo of Ianis Hagi in training, and the Romanian international shared it, adding the message: “I'm glad to be back on the pitch after a few weeks of physical discomfort. It's derby week, let's get started!“.

After the last action of the Romanian national team, in which the “tricolors” lost the qualifying round for this summer's World Championship with Turkey, score 0-1, Ianis Hagi scored 40 minutes in the draw with Gaziantep (1-1) and was absent from the draw with Trabzonspor (1-1), being injured.
Later, the Romanian marked 30 minutes in the failure with Kasimpasa (0-1), was an unused reserve in the failure in the Turkish Cup, 0-3 with Beşiktaş, and was absent from the team in the defeat with Samsunspor, score 2-3.
Ianis Hagi has made 27 appearances for Alanyaspor this season in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing two assists. Quoted by the specialized website Transfermarkt at 1.8 million euros, the Romanian still has a contract with Alanyaspor until the summer of 2027.
With 3 stages to go, Alanyaspor is in 12th place in Turkey's first league, with 33 points, 5 points ahead of the relegable first place, occupied by the very next opponent, Antalyaspor.
The team for which both Ianis Hagi and Umit Akdag play will then have to play Kayserispor at home and Karagumruk away.
