The first raid to comply with the new rules for scooters was carried out in Krasnoyarsk

30 April 15:25

In the center of Krasnoyarsk, employees of the administrative commission and police conducted the first raid to comply with the new procedure for the use of personal mobility equipment.

The document was signed the day before by the head of the city, so the check was more of an informational nature.

“We talked to several users of rental scooters and one owner. Citizens are generally sympathetic to innovations. Many say that they have not yet had time to familiarize themselves with the rules. Since little time had passed, no fines were issued this time. By the way, one of the scooter rental services has already reconfigured the system and banned traffic on central streets at the program level,” the mayor’s office said.

We would like to remind you that, according to the administration's decree, electric scooters are prohibited from being used in the historical center of the city and in some other areas. For example, it will not be possible to drive them on the sidewalks of the street. Karl Marx, Mira Ave. and st. Lenin from the BKZ to the Trade Unions, as well as along the cross streets from Karatanov to Robespierre, with the exception of bicycle paths. The ban on riding scooters also applies to city squares and parks. All zones can be viewed Here.

Limit speed It will be necessary at pedestrian crossings (up to 7 km/h), near large parks and squares (up to 8 km/h), and on bridges. These zones can be viewed Here.

Kick-sharing companies will be able to place personal mobility equipment in Krasnoyarsk only with the permission of the administration and only in designated places for a fee – 6.5 rubles per day per scooter. Scooters are not allowed to be placed closer than 5 meters from stops and intersections, as well as cultural heritage sites, monuments, shop windows, etc. You can view the SIM placement diagram here.

All users of rental electric scooters will be required to return them to designated locations. If the scooter is abandoned in another place, the owner will be obliged to remove it within two hours, otherwise it will be evacuated by a specialized organization. In this case, it will be possible to pick up the SIM only after reimbursement of the costs of evacuation and storage.

“The main goal of regulatory decisions in this area is to improve the safety of Krasnoyarsk residents. We already have the right to fine anyone who breaks the rules. But still, you need to get used to any innovations and configure the system. Therefore, we are giving kickshare companies the opportunity to reconfigure their work. Now they will transfer funds to the budget for the use of the city’s infrastructure. This is the practice of many cities. Parking of vehicles will be possible only in certain areas. There are about 600 of them in the city,” said the head of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Vereshchagin.

Please note that all restrictions and prohibitions will apply not only to rental vehicles, but also to personal personal mobility devices.

Fines for violations improvement rules will be imposed by administrative commissions. They are: for citizens – from 1.5 to 4 thousand rubles; for individual entrepreneurs and officials – from 10 to 20 thousand rubles; for legal entities – from 50 to 100 thousand rubles.
