Employees of the Krasnoyarsk traffic police regiment brought to administrative responsibility a female driver who was unsafely transporting her child.
The incident occurred on April 25 in the afternoon. It was established that a 10-year-old boy was sitting in the front passenger seat without using a child restraint and leaned out of the hatch while the Gili car was moving. Obviously, they photographed the gross traffic violation and published it online.
“The incident caused a public outcry. This driver behavior creates a real threat to the safety of a minor passenger. Traffic police inspectors quickly identified the driver – he turned out to be a 35-year-old woman, the mother of the child who was looking out of the hatch. The car enthusiast admitted that she did not realize the seriousness of her action,” the traffic police said.
For violation of the requirements for the transportation of children under Part 3 of Art. 12.23 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the woman was fined 5,000 rubles.
