Arthur Antunes Coimbra (real name of the former football player) flew to France as part of the Brazilian delegation to the Olympic Games. On July 25, he called a taxi, loaded his luggage, got into the cabin – at that moment an unknown person ran up to the car and started shouting at the driver. His accomplice broke into the trunk and took out things. Damage: $540k.
This is at least the third robbery in the first two days of the 2024 Olympics.
