Students of Krasnoyarsk universities showed the governor AI projects to help government agencies

Students from Krasnoyarsk universities presented digital projects to Governor Mikhail Kotyukov that can help in the work of government agencies. According to the official portal of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, among the developments were an AI assistant for starting a business, the transfer of government services to a single portal and a system for monitoring artificial intelligence scenarios.
In the spring of 2026, 19 students from universities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory got a job at the region’s Information Technology Center. Among them are students from Reshetnev University, Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University, Institute of Philology of the Federal Research Center KSC SB RAS and Siberian Federal University. Now they are combining study with work and getting acquainted with the activities of the Regional Coordination Center and the Regional Management Center. According to Mikhail Kotyukov, such solutions in the field of digital projects should make public administration more efficient. We are talking about reducing waiting times for services, increasing labor productivity and increasing residents’ trust in authorities. Now young specialists are engaged in data analytics, development of digital services, implementation of AI solutions and development of electronic services. The authorities expect that this format will help accelerate the digital transformation of the region and prepare a personnel reserve for government agencies.
“Similar projects for student employment have been implemented at the federal level – in the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, the Federal Tax Service and Rosreestr. Federal colleagues note the effectiveness of this practice. In 2025, as a pilot, we hired two students at the Regional Coordination Center, and in 2026 we scaled the project and invited even more students,” said Nikolai Raspopin, Minister of Digital Development of the region.
The selection of participants took place through a research intensive on artificial intelligence. It took place in Krasnoyarsk in December 2025. Students solved practical problems from partners, including the Ministry of Digital Development of the region. The best participants got the job after interviews.
