Marcel Ciolacu has officially announced that he will resign from the position of prime minister, if the PSD will approve the proposal to leave the ruling coalition with the PNL and the UDMR as a result of the Coalition candidate to reach the Presidential Election Tour 2.
“This coalition, after the annulment of the presidential elections and the parliamentary elections, constituted as a coalition with two objectives: to create a government with PSD prime minister because the PSD was in the first place, my colleagues proposed me. The second objective: to have a common candidate for the presidency. Marcel Ciolacu, before the PSD meeting.
The PSD president stressed that he will request the exit of the Party from the government, and if the request is approved, he will resign from the position of prime minister.
“As a result, the coalition agreement was only partially fulfilled, after seeing the vote of the Romanians and the fact that the coalition did not fulfill its agreement. I will propose the PSD to get out of this coalition. If the colleagues vote to leave the coalition, I normally resign,” Marcel Ciolacu announced.
