Dinamo and Rapid met in a match of the 6th stage of the play-off, and the “dogs” prevailed categorically, score 3-1, after 11 years of drought against the rival.
After half an hour without achievements, Dinamo struck through Milanov, who took advantage of the error of the 18-year-old rookie goalkeeper Briciu. In the second half, Cîrjan and Musi, entered in the 46th and 56th minutes, increased the score, against the background of an excellent game of the “dogs”.
On the other side, Rapid played disappointingly, managing to score only in the 89th minute, with the ONLY shot on goal.
GSP grades for Dinamo players
-
Devis Epassy – 7: He didn't have much to defend. He was there when he was needed, either going out to catch the ball or receiving passes from his teammates. He could do more in Rapid's goal
-
Maxim Sivis – 7: He handled the defensive duties well and always stepped up in attack when he had the opportunity. Very good in one-on-one duels with Petrila
-
Kennedy Boateng – 7: Strong and confident on it. He was not overtaken by opponents
-
Matteo Duțu – 7: Safe on him, strong in duels. He played 55 minutes, in a system with three defenders. He didn't move badly when he had the ball at his feet either.
-
Nikita Stoinov – 6: He had only one hesitation, in the 89th minute, when Paraschiv faced him and scored
-
Raul Opruț – 7: Returned after the injury with Craiova, he moved well. Aggressive in duels and strong in defense, without success in attack.
-
Alberto Soro – 7: Used in two positions, it performed its duties well. He ran a lot and gave an excellent assist
-
Eddy Gnahore – 7: Sure on him in the middle, involved in many phases. He gave rhythm and safety to the center
-
Georgi Milanov – 8: Surprisingly started by Kopic, it was he who scored the first goal of the match. He only played 45 minutes, but he got involved in the game, ran a lot in midfield
-
George Puscaș – 5: Deleted again. After training, he is still not at the level of his peers. He had a weak header and a shot from 14 yards sent well over the bar
-
Daniel Armstrong – 6: Played 75 minutes. He ran a lot, struggled and fought with the Giulești defense. But he didn't achieve much
-
Coach: Zeljko Kopic – 9: He started the match with a 5-back system and blocked Rapid's wings excellently. He bet on Milanov, who scored the 1-0 goal. Then in the second half he brought in Cîrjan and Musi, both scoring. He moved tactically in the 56th minute, when he used Musi instead of Duțu, returning to the 4-3-3 system and trying to take advantage of the spaces left by the speedsters
They have also played:
-
Cătălin Cîrjan – 8: Came on at half-time and made his presence felt in the 59th minute. Scored an excellent goal with a well-placed shot to the far corner from 14 meters
-
Alexandru Musi – 8: Introduced in the 56th minute, made it 3-0 in the 71st minute. Struggled a lot while on the pitch, tormenting the opposing defenders

Cristian Mihai – 6: It didn't stand out. He acquitted himself of his duties in the 20 minutes he played
-
Alexander Pop – Played too little to be rated
-
Ianis Tarba – Played too little to be rated
GSP grades received by Rapid players:

-
Denis Ciobotariu – 5: Used as a right back, Ciobi played just over 60 minutes, after a hesitant start to the second half, in which he made several mistakes
-
Alexandru Pașcanu – 6: He did not make a mistake in the defensive phase and even had two restarts headed towards Epassy's goal after set pieces.

-
Andrei Borza – 6: He gave the cross into the goal, after a very good action. Tried to be useful in attack but showed too little

Constantin Grameni – 6: Involved in the game, tried to vertical and pass decisively to Dobre and Petrila. But without much success.
-
Tobias Christensen – 6 – Violent in the middle, but without much success
-
Olimpiu Moruțan – 5: Non-existent during the attack phase. Outmatched in physical duels, he failed to show anything on the offensive phase. At the 2-0 goal, Cîrjan left his side
-
Claudiu Petrila – 6 – Among Rapid's attackers, Petrila was the most active. He fidgeted, ran and tried to outrun Dinamo's defenders. But he didn't achieve much
-
Alexandru Dobre – 5: He started as a center forward, then moved to the wing. But without any success.
Coach: Constantin Gâlcă – 5: No reaction. Overpowered by the tactical moves made by Kopic, he could not wake up his players nor break the defense of the “dogs”
They have also played:
-
George Briciu – 5: He entered in the 4th minute, after Aioani's injury. He intervened well in the first ball, but made a decisive mistake in the 1-0 goal. A weak ball sent by Milanov slipped between his legs. The 3-0 goal scored by Musi could have done more as the ball went past him in the short corner. In the end, he had three good interventions, one after the other.
-
Tallison – 5: He didn't have the strength to bring anything notable to the Rapid attack
-
Daniel Paraschiv – 6: He scored Rapid's only goal, after a phase in which he took Stoinov's face and shot excellently
-
Răzvan Onea – 5: Without many achievements, slightly surpassed by Musi in the 3-0 goal, but also in other times.
-
Drilon Hazrollaj – He played too little to be rated
