An 18-year-old woman died, Sunday afternoon, after the car she was in, driven by a novice driver, skidded in a curve and left the roadway. The woman behind the wheel escaped with her life.

The road accident took place on Sunday, April 26, at around 5:00 p.m., in the outskirts of Prundu, Giurgiu county.
“From the first investigations, it emerged that an 18-year-old woman, while driving a car, would not have adjusted the speed in a curve and would have left the roadway“, are the first conclusions of the police officers who investigated the accident site.
The car was found off the road, in the forest on the side of the road. The passenger was no longer showing vital signs when medical crews arrived at the scene. The injured driver was picked up by an ambulance and taken to the hospital.
The police are continuing their investigations to establish the circumstances in which the road accident took place.
