With no goals, Cordea being left on the bench, and Lukic being injured during the warm-up, the match started balanced, but quite quickly the hosts started to take control of the game. It was a game with rhythm and intensity, but without phases, opportunities or even executions in the goal area.
Cordea decided the match in the 70th minute, from a penalty awarded to Szabolcs Kovacs at Mikanovic's henchman.
So CFR prevailed to the limit, in an ugly football derby, but which brings it only two points behind U Cluj and Craiova University. And Pancu's team re-enters the calculations for the title. Here's how the players evolved!
