Cristi Chivu (45 years old) is on a roll in Italy, and at the end of this season he can win both the championship and the Coppa Italia. The Romanian technician is in the second season of his coaching career in professional football, and Ladislau Boloni (72 years old) praised his progress.
With the spectacular victory against Como, score 3-2, Inter reached the Coppa Italia final. The Nerazzurri are also formidable in the championship, having a 12-point lead over second-placed AC Milan with five stages to go. Thus, Cristi Chivu has huge chances to end his first full career season with two trophies in his record.

“Chivu didn't surprise me, because from the very beginning I considered him a particularly serious boy, a very proper boy, who knew what he wanted and a particularly intelligent footballer. From this point of view, he is the man who built his career with a lot of intelligence, when he chose to go to Ajax then and then to choose his teams as he was able to choose them.
I see in him an important man for international football, not only for Romanian football. Even though he is only in his second year, he has endured in Dutch football, succeeded in Italian football and it shows now as a coach. He left his roots where he was formed and always showed his worth.
I am happy and proud, because I felt this about him since he was a Romanian international. At a delicate moment, I chose him as captain of the national team. I wish him success in the championship and in the cup! He is a simple and intelligent man,” Ladislau Boloni told Gazeta Sporturilor.
