Over the past few years, scientists have conducted a number of studies that have shown that the AMOC, the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, may be on the verge of collapse.
Assessments of possible collapse have shown that by 2050, the AMOS will likely collapse and the world will experience increased heat waves, droughts and floods, which in turn will lead to economic collapse.
