Let us remind you that the backup team of the only professional club in the region, Norilsk Nickel, which belongs to the Norilsk Nickel company, was created in 2022. The team trains at the Sopka sports complex of the Siberian Federal University.
The partnership between IFC and SFU contributes to the development of futsal in the region, opens up new opportunities for young athletes and allows them to combine study with a professional career. Last season, the Norilsk Nickel-2 team reached the playoffs of the Major League, but failed to get out of the 1/8 finals. This year the players have overcome a new milestone.
