In Nazarovo, a woman underestimated her income for the sake of social payments of 350 thousand

In Nazarovo, law enforcement officers discovered fraud in receiving social benefits. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

According to the police, in June 2024, a 39-year-old local resident applied to a government agency to apply for social assistance. When submitting documents, the woman provided false information, underestimating her actual income.

In addition, law enforcement officers found that she concealed her actual income for the first quarter of 2024 by transferring money between accounts.

As a result of illegal actions, a resident of Nazarov received a social payment in the amount of 350 thousand rubles.

Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened under Part 3 of Art. 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud in receiving payments.” A measure of procedural coercion was chosen in relation to the suspect in the form of an obligation to appear.
