This fuel is not available in “CPN”. We checked the prices [MAPA]

LPG was not included in the tax reduction package. What are its prices? According to BM Reflex, 1 liter costs 3 PLN 83 gr (this is weekly data for the period April 9-16). Even though the fuel was not included in the government package, the price is very attractive. For comparison, at that time 95-octane petrol cost PLN 6.5 and diesel oil – PLN 7.17.
At the same time, autogas prices have been quite stable in recent weeks – and the situation in the Middle East has not had as much impact on them as, for example, diesel oil.
LPG prices. Where is the most expensive?
The location of the station has a huge impact on autogas rates. Motorists from the province are definitely in the best situation. Świętokrzyskie. There – according to BM Reflex – 1 liter costs only 3 PLN 64 gr. The distance to other relatively cheap voivodeships is very large – in the next voivodeships on the list: Lesser Poland and Silesia for 1 liter of LPG you have to pay PLN 3.80.
And where is the most expensive? Here, as many as four voivodeships are ex aequo at the top – Lubuskie, Masovian, Greater Poland and West Pomeranian. 1 liter of autogas costs PLN 3.87 there.
Why is there no autogas in “CPN”?
The package did not cover LPG for a rather prosaic reason – the prices of this fuel simply did not increase after the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. Energy Minister Miłosz Motyka explained in RMF that “the crisis we have is primarily in the case of oil, fuels and petroleum products, not directly in LPG.”
This decision, however, raises some emotions – especially since autogas is still extremely popular in Poland. The Polish Chamber of Liquefied Gas estimates that this fuel is used by as many as 2.5–3 million drivers on the Vistula River.
The Polish Chamber of Liquefied Gas also believes that the omission of this fuel from the package means “unequal treatment of users of different types of fuel”. According to the Chamber, people with lower incomes and residents of smaller towns who most often use autogas, as well as micro and small entrepreneurs, including: farmers or taxi drivers.
