17 April 17:56

A Krasnoyarsk resident started shooting with a pneumatic pistol and threatened minors with violence. This was reported by the press services of the regional department of the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor's office.

It all happened on the evening of April 15 on Linenaya Street next to the Barakuda sauna and the Allion children's sports club. The 48-year-old drunk man first fired a pistol several times into trash cans.

He then approached a car parked nearby, where a 31-year-old woman and her young daughter were sitting. The attacker pointed the weapon towards the child and, according to the prosecutor’s office, said: “I’ll kill you now.” The woman drove away in panic, hearing shots behind her.

After this, the man saw two teenagers, 14 and 15 years old, who were leaving a judo training session at a sports school. He pointed the gun in their direction and again began threatening to kill them. The girl, who became a victim of aggression, ran back into the building and reported what had happened to the coach. He was not taken aback, he tied up the rowdy on the spot and held him until the law enforcement officers arrived.

Arriving police officers seized from the detainee an air pistol similar in design to the Bulldog KURS model, as well as knives, a spray can and bullets.

The investigative department opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – hooliganism committed with the use of an object used as a weapon. The suspect had previously been prosecuted, including for illegal weapons trafficking and extremist actions.
