Regional operator ROSTtech continues to expand its fleet, adding four new vehicles for the collection and removal of municipal solid waste.

Two of them are rear-loading garbage trucks and can transport iron and plastic bins, as well as containers. The new garbage trucks have increased capacity and a high compaction ratio, allowing the removal of up to 150 bins in one trip. The equipment has already entered the routes.

In addition to the usual garbage trucks, the fleet was replenished with a scrap truck and a multi-lift. The scrap truck is indispensable for cleaning bulky waste, the company notes. Using the claw, the operator can remove even the smallest debris. Scrap truck driver Alexander notes that skill and experience allow him to lift even a matchbox.

Multi-lift machines are involved in transporting the “tails” remaining after sorting MSW. This method of transportation is the most airtight and eliminates the spread of debris, experts say.

The head of the department of the regional operator, Vladimir Potridenny, noted that the company plans to further strengthen its fleet:

“This year we have significantly strengthened our vehicle fleet: 17 units of new equipment, including a multi-lift and a scrap truck. This equipment performs well in operation, we do not plan to stop at current acquisitions: we will update and expand the fleet further.”
