Mentzen: I want something to change in Poland, so that there is a real change

The confederation candidate for president Sławomir Mentzen during a Sunday meeting with the inhabitants of Starogard Gdański (Pomeranian) stated that politicians do not make real changes that Poland needs. He assured that this would change after he won the election.

The open meeting with the confederation candidate in the upcoming presidential election took place on a rainy Sunday in Starogard Gdański. During the rally, Mentzen said he was on the road because he wanted “finally something to change in Poland” and “that there would be a real change.”
In his opinion, “politicians do nothing, they do not change”, and Poland – he said – needs “that something would finally change”.
In his speech, he assured that if he became president, among others It will lead to the rejection of the green order and will not sign any law raising taxes.
He pointed out – in his opinion – the poor functioning of the health service. “Politicians are satisfied with the health service, because they have not been doing anything with it for 20 years; this is a system for SLD. Since 2003, that is, for 20 years PO-PiS there was not enough for them to reform.” He added that Poles do not want to wait in the queue for a few years for a visit to a specialist. “With each subsequent year it is getting worse and they do nothing about it,” said the candidate.
In his speech he also focused on the opponent of Rafale Trzaskowski. “During the campaign he buried EU or rainbow flags and shows up with white and red. He says he is an economic patriot,” Mentzen said.
He added that “instead of from Polish Pesa, the metro kicks his Turkish company and even for the trees Warsaw officials go to Germany (…). They take off trees from Germany, as if it was impossible to buy Polish” – he noted.
He also pointed to a built Warsaw toilet for 650 thousand. PLN. “Is this an armored toilet? You can hide there, experience bombing” – ironically the candidate.
In addition to the toilet, he gave the example of his “second favorite Trzaskowski investment”, or “a large plaster, blue egg for PLN 200,000”. The leader of the Confederation stated that they “spend money on stupidity.”
During the speech, he also pointed to the airport in Radom, from which – as he assessed – no one uses. “It is only luxurious: you can give luggage and go through security control without queues, as if it has been unused for two years,” said the politician.
He presented acute criticism of the green order and the European Union climate policy. “It must be completely rejected as soon as possible. It doesn't make any sense,” he said.
“Donald Trump on the first day rejected the green order. They focused on fossil fuels to have cheap energy. China, India, Africa, everyone focuses on cheap energy” – summed up the leader of the confederation.
In his speech he emphasized that the government should take care of migrants. In his opinion, where mass migrations appear, there “crime is drastically growing” as an example of Sweden.
The presidential candidate added that in Poland “politicians and the government did not come out”. “What do these people go for, it doesn't work at all,” he said.
In his opinion, people who do not know it are responsible for the ministries. He pointed to Minister Healthy Izabela Leszczyn, who graduated, among others Polish philology and the deputy prime minister, head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who is a doctor by profession.
“She never had anything to do with healthcare. He knows, “Mentzen said.
He added that if Poles do not change it in the election, “we will continue to live in a grandfather's country with made from a cardboard connected to trititos and nothing will change.” “You'll see, we'll change it” – he assured during the rally.
He emphasized that Poles deserve more. “Poles deserve a better state than it is in Bangladesh, Mongolia, Kenya or Nigeria. Poles deserve more, other politicians” – he added.
On Sunday, Mentzen also visited Sztum, Tczew and Kościerzyna. There are also plans to meet the inhabitants of Pruszcz Gdański, Gdańsk and Sopot.
The presidential election will take place on May 18 this year, and a possible second round – June 1. (PAP)
