In the Krasnoyarsk Territory for Over the past week, 29 residents, including 11 children, have suffered from ticks. This was reported by Rospotrebnadzor.

In total, since the beginning of the season, 60 calls to doctors have been recorded in the region.
Epidemiologists warn that the geography of attacks is expanding: ticks are now active in Krasnoyarsk, in the Indrinsko-Krasnoturansky, Shushensky, Ermakovsky, Karatuzsky, Kuraginsky, Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky, Abansky and Uzhursky districts.
Rospotrebnadzor asks residents to be careful:
“When going out into nature, check yourself every 20-30 minutes. And don’t forget about your pets.”
According to experts, this season, the number of ticks in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is generally expected to be at the long-term average level. An increase in the number of taiga ticks is expected in the vicinity of Krasnoyarsk, Sharypov, Lesosibirsk and the Ilan-Nizhneingashsky district, as well as an increase in the number of steppe ticks in the vicinity of Minusinsk. At the same time, the number of taiga ticks in the Achinsk area is expected to remain at last year’s level and a decline in steppe ticks in the vicinity of Kansk.
