— Viktor Orban is a great guy who does a great job. “I think his 16-year legacy in Hungary is a transformation, a fundamental change in this country,” JD Vance emphasized in an interview with Fox News.

— One of the reasons we decided to do this [wyrazić poparcie dla Orbana]it's not that we don't know how to analyze polls. Surely we knew there was a high probability that Viktor would lose this election. We did this because he is one of the few European leaders who were ready to oppose the bureaucracy in Brussels, which does a lot, a lot of harm to the United States,” added Vance, who on March 7, a few days before the elections, encouraged people to vote for Orban in Budapest.

Clear US support for Orban

The American administration in an unprecedentedly clear and open way called on Hungarians to vote for Orban. Trump has endorsed Orban at least five times in the elections, and the day before the vote he even suggested that he was ready to use “the power of the American economy” to help the Hungarian economy.

In support of Orban, US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio also paid a visit to Hungary before the elections.
