Russian air defense repelled an attack by Ukrainian drones on energy infrastructure and other targets in the city of Volzhsky in the Volgograd Oblast in southern Russia, the oblast's governor announced on Wednesday. Andrei Bocharov, writing on his administration's Telegram channel, described the attack as “massive” and added that it damaged one apartment in the city, located northeast of the region's main city, Volgograd.

Debris from a drone landed near a kindergarten in the city, and a fire broke out at a factory in Volgograd. Bocharov said no one was injured in the attack.
