On Monday, April 13, at noon, there is congestion on the downhill direction of DN 1, from Braşov to Ploiesti, between Predeal and Buşteni stations and near the town of Comarnic, in Prahova county, informs the INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police.

On the other side of the road, a column of vehicles is formed within the radius of the Bușteni resort, but also between the localities of Breaza and Comarnic, adds the cited institution.
Traffic is also intense on DN7 Pitesti–Sibiu, in the areas of Lazaret, Căciulata, Bujoreni and Dedulești, in both directions. That's why the police are present in the resorts of Valea Prahova and on the main roads in the country to streamline traffic.
“For the safety of traffic participants, in the context of the intensification of trips from the destinations of Easter party home, we recommend drivers consider the following tips:
– increasing the safety distance between vehicles;
– avoiding risky overtaking of columns of vehicles;
– carefully planning the route and using alternative routes;
– showing respect for other traffic participants, signaling any intention to change the traffic lane or direction;
– on highways, giving priority when exiting service spaces, putting hazard lights into operation at the end of a column that stops or slows down suddenly.”
The police also advise drivers not to drive or stop in the emergency lane unnecessarily.
For DN 1 Bucharest – Ploiesti – Brașov, the following roads can be used as alternative routes:
- Bucharest – Highway A3 – Ploiesti – Cheia – DN 1A – Brașov;
- Bucharest – Highway A1 – Pitesti – Campulung – DN 73 – Râșnov;
- Bucharest – DN 71 – Târgoviște – DN 72A – Câmpulung – DN 73 – Râșnov;
