National e-Invoice System. There will be changes to the application and dates

The Ministry of Finance is analyzing the possibility of extending the deadline until which there will be no penalties for incorrect use of KSeF – said Andrzej Domański, Minister of Finance and Economy, on Friday. Currently, the regulations assume that entrepreneurs will not be punished for errors related to the use of KSeF until the end of 2026.

Domański was asked on Friday on RMF FM about the National e-Invoice System. The minister emphasized that so far 120 million invoices have been issued in the system.
He also noted that entrepreneurs will not be punished for errors related to the use and operation of KSeF until the end of 2026, and the Ministry of Finance is analyzing the possibility of extending this deadline. – We are analyzing whether this period, let's call it “without consequences”, should be extended even further – he said.
Domański also said that entrepreneurs submit their comments on the KSeF application. – It will be improved and simplified. New functionalities will appear – he added.
The minister was also asked about whether the government intends to raise the second tax bracket. He pointed out that the second threshold applies to approximately 11 percent. taxpayers, and the thresholds will not be changed this year.
– Of course, there will be discussions in 2027 – he added.
KSeF is a system in which entrepreneurs issue, send and store electronic invoices. From February 1, 2026, all companies are obliged to receive invoices via the system. In turn, the smallest entities whose monthly sales documented by invoices do not exceed PLN 10,000. PLN gross, will be subject to the obligation to issue invoices to KSeF from January 1, 2027.
The system is designed to accept 2.5 billion invoices per year.
You can log in to KSeF, among others: via the mObywatel application, MojeID – electronic banking, e-ID or Profil Zaufany, as well as using certificates and tokens. (PAP)
