Donald Trump revealed the backstage of conversation with Volodymyr Zelnski in the Vatican


Donald Trump and Wołodymyr Zelnski met in the Vatican on Saturday. Their face -to -face conversations occurred before the funeral of Pope Francis. In an interview with journalists at night from Sunday to Monday, Polish Trump revealed what he heard from Zelanski.
– He told me he needs more weapons and we'll see what would happen. I want to see what will happen to Russia – said the US president. The American leader said that “he was very disappointed, that the rockets were flying”, referring to Russian attacks on Kiev, crooked corner or sums.
Trump was also asked whether after talking to Zelanski he sees any chances of a concession of Ukraine and its president on Crimea. “I think so,” Trump said.
“Nobody raised this issue for 12 years, and now they are doing it suddenly.” So I told him [Zełenskiemu — przyp. red.]: “Maybe you should contact Obama? Ask him why he gave it back [Krym]? “
The American leader also drew attention to the change he had seen at Zelanski since the memorable, turbulent visit to the White House. – I see him as a calmer, I think he understands the situation, I think he wants to conclude a contract – said Trump.
The politician was asked about the chance of the success of peaceful negotiations. – We'll see what will happen in the next few days. We will probably find out a lot about resolving in Ukraine – said the US president. Asked by one of the journalists if he still trusts Vladimir Putin, he replied: – I will let you know in two weeks.
