The University Hospital announced on Tuesday afternoon that Mircea Lucescu underwent a “complex CT scan”, which showed “multiple signs of cerebral ischemic vascular accidents and foci of pulmonary thromboembolism”.

The Bucharest University Hospital also says that the former national coach will remain “under the strict supervision of the multidisciplinary team”.

Mircea Lucescu, 80 years old, was hospitalized on March 29 at Bucharest University Hospital, after he was hurt before the training of the national team.

He was supposed to be discharged on Friday, April 3, but he suffered an acute myocardial infarction. On the night of Saturday to Sunday, Mircea Lucescu was transferred to Intensive Care, after his condition worsened, according to the University Emergency Hospital in Bucharest.
