The Civil Registry Office of the Saratov Region invited couples to register their marriage in the Space Conquerors Park. The ceremony will take place at the place where Yuri Gagarin landed, the Saratov 24 TV channel reports.
Instead of standard banquet halls, newlyweds are offered the sky, earth and stars, as well as the atmosphere of a place associated with cosmic history.
Let us recall that Yuri Gagarin landed on April 12, 1961 in the Saratov region, not far from Engels, near the village of Smelovka (field of the Leninsky Put collective farm). The descent vehicle landed, and Gagarin himself ejected and landed separately. Nowadays the Gagarin Field memorial complex is located on this site.
