The highest traffic intensity was recorded at ul. Nowokarsiborska, where there are several gas stations nearby. It is also the main route leading to the tunnel under Świna, connecting key parts of the city.
— Drivers want to refuel, they can't fit in the driveway, they stand on the street, which should be passable. In connection with the city guard regulates traffic manually. If it happened that there would be too many drivers. Polish gas stations besieged by the Germans. The reason is the large differences in prices
The reason is simple – fuel prices in Poland remain lower than in our western neighbors, prompting many drivers to cross the border to refuel.
The applicable maximum fuel prices in Poland remain attractive compared to the German market. On Friday, a liter of 95 petrol costs a maximum of PLN 6.19, 98 petrol – PLN 6.80, and diesel – PLN 7.64.
These are much lower fuel prices than in Germany. According to information provided by the ADAC automobile club A liter of E10 petrol cost on Thursday after 12 in Germany 2,198 euros (PLN 9.40). The price of diesel oil was as high as EUR 2,415 (PLN 10.33).
