A new fact of receiving a bribe by the deputy chief of police of Krasnoyarsk has been revealed

Investigators have identified another episode of illegal activity by Deputy Chief of Police of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Tetyukhin. This was reported to the Investigative Committee.

According to law enforcement officers, in May 2024, Sergei Tetyukhin received a bribe in the amount of 100 thousand rubles from a city resident through an intermediary to speed up the procedure for registering and receiving international passports for a man and his wife. The policeman used the money at his own discretion.

Let us remind you that earlier the deputy chief of the Krasnoyarsk police was detained on suspicion of bribery and fraud (clause “c” of Part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Law enforcement officers believe that in the period from 2021 to May 2022, he promised to help a defendant in a criminal case avoid responsibility and received a reward of more than 3.5 million rubles for this.

Also, from 2020 to 2023, according to investigators, Sergei Tetyukhin received property worth over 190 thousand rubles from one of the city residents as a bribe. In return, he helped foreigners obtain residence permits and facilitated taking the oath of citizenship, even if they did not speak Russian well.

Currently, the deputy chief of the Krasnoyarsk police has been suspended from duty. If guilt is confirmed, he will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies on negative grounds and will be punished in accordance with the procedure established by law.

The investigation, taking into account the official position of Sergei Tetyukhin, his wide range of connections, his skills in operational-search activities and the possibility of putting pressure on witnesses, went to court with a petition to select a preventive measure in the form of detention for him.
