Zeljko Kopic, coach of the Dinamo team, spoke about the young Ianis Tarbă (19 years old), brought to the “red dogs” in the winter market. Trained at Barcelona's academy and coming from Celta Vigo's juniors, Tarbă attracted the attention of the Dynamo staff through his developments and demonstrated potential.
Tarbă signed with Dinamo in January of this year, after spending the last three years at Celta Vigo and also passing through the famous La Masia, the academy of the Barcelona club.

The Croatian technician explained how the plan for his evolution at Dinamo was discovered:
“Ianis Tarbă came through our scouting department, because we analyze all the Romanians who play at the youth level in Spain, Italy, Israel, all those who have a Romanian passport. IThe idea was to take him for these six months, let him adapt to training, to the game and see from the summer if he stays or if we borrow him somewhere. He adapted better and faster than I expected.
He showed good, interesting things, I like how he works, how he plays, I'm happy he also went to the U21, he was a starter. He is one of the young people we count on now, but especially in the futureKopic told Radio Dinamo.
Ianis Tarbă, about Dinamo: “We are the best team in the play-offs”
In the last stage of the Super League, after the home defeat against Craiova University, score 0-1, the 19-year-old player gave the statement of the evening:
“I think we are the best team in the play-offs, we play the best football, but the results lately have not been what we wanted.“
Ianis Tarbă is a Romanian player born in Spain, in Mollerussa, and had no experience in Romanian football before signing with Dinamo. He is developing on the right wing position and did his junior training at the famous La Masia. In 2022, he arrived at Celta Vigo's academy, at the U17 level, and since then he has played in the Spanish club's small teams, reaching the second team of the formation in the first league. The Dynamo player was also part of the U20 team at the national team's last action.
