
It’s possible to prepare Easter cakes without unnecessary stress. On March 27, Ukrainian restaurateur Evgeniy Klopotenko shared a quick recipe for yeast-free dough on YouTube.
“If you don’t know how to work with yeast, don’t want to wait for the dough to sit, or just don’t want to bother, but want to knead and bake right away – then this recipe is for you. This is Easter, which you will knead in five minutes and bake in an hour. Nothing complicated, but the result will be wow,” assured Klopotenko.
According to the restaurateur, the secret of this quick recipe is the combination of soda and baking powder. Klopotenko assured: paska turns out tasty and very appetizing.
Products:
- 500 g flour;
- 1 pack of baking powder;
- 150 g sugar;
- 10 g vanilla sugar;
- 5 eggs;
- 100 g butter;
- 200 ml milk;
- 50 g sour cream;
- 100 g raisins or cranberries.
Preparation
- Beat eggs and sugar with a whisk.
- Add melted butter, milk, sour cream and stir.
- Add flour with baking powder and vanilla sugar, and raisins if desired.
- Knead the dough, put it in a greased form with parchment, filling it 2⁄3 full.
- Bake for 75 minutes at 180°C.
- Once the Easter cakes have cooled, brush with glaze.
