Mircea Lucescu, rushed to the hospital, after fainting during training
Mircea Lucescu fainted this morning during the technical session preceding the last training before the team's departure to Slovakia, scheduled at 18:00.
Răzvan Burleanu, the president of the FRF, spoke in Mogoșoaia about the state of health of the selector, declaring that it is stable.
The medical condition of Mr. Mircea Lucescu is stable, he is in safe hands, admitted to the University Hospital. As soon as this crisis situation appeared, we also considered suspending the match, we discussed with our colleagues in Slovakia and with UEFA. Everything depended on Mr. Lucescu's medical condition. The match will be played at the scheduled time. It was just a working scenario, especially since the players felt this tension, being there with Mr. Lucescu when this event happened.
