Norilsk resident went to prison for trading rights to boats and boats

March 27 16:40

The court sentenced a northerner to 5.5 years in prison for trading in rights to operate small-engine vessels. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

According to the supervisory authority, in 2024, a resident of Norilsk, together with his accomplices, among whom was the head of the Dudinsky inspection site of the GIMS Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, organized the sale of rights to operate small-engine vessels. To obtain the “crusts” only 35 thousand rubles were required.

The defendant was looking for clients: residents of Taimyr and other cities who were ready to buy a certificate or registration of the vessel. To get to the “exam”, clients left applications on the “State Services”. There, they selected a date for a potential exam and then recorded a staged video of “passing” the inspection.

Next, the site manager entered false information into the system, on the basis of which state-issued certificates were issued. A month later, law enforcement officers stopped the illegal scheme.

The court found the man guilty of receiving 41 bribes (clause “a” of Part 5 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced him to 5 years and 6 months in a maximum security colony. The court also confiscated from him an amount equal to the bribes received – 1.5 million rubles.

Let us remind you that the ex-head of the GIMS station has already been sentenced to 7 years and 10 months in a general regime colony with deprivation of the right to hold public office. Together with her, 36 bribe-payers were brought to criminal liability.
