Călin Georgescu calls for the nationalization of resources and issues a coded warning: “The truth will come out when the cherry blossoms bloom”

The former candidate for the presidency of Romania Călin Georgescu launched on Wednesday evening, March 25, a drastic solution for the current economic crisis. In an interview given to journalist Robert Turcescu on Metropola TV, Călin Georgescu launched a series of harsh warnings to the political class and presented a radical vision for the future of Romania.

The former candidate proposes a total change of the economic paradigm, based on state control over natural and strategic resources.

It must end the economy of robbery and move to the economy of production. All the resources of the country, all the great strategic wealth of the country, belong to the Romanian people. The nationalization of resources means that they become the property of the Romanian people, who must benefit from them, not foreigners“, explained Călin Georgescu on Metropola TV.

Călin Georgescu criticized, on Metropola TV, the current resource management model, stating that it is one of “modern slavery”.

“Nationalization means bringing all the country's resources into the ownership of the Romanian people, because they must benefit from them. Not someone else, not foreigners. At the moment foreigners are benefiting. Romania must be a sovereign and self-sufficient power, otherwise we no longer exist. Romania can no longer depend on anyone, otherwise we will disappear. How can I think it could be otherwise? As long as the resources belong to you, the price can be small. I said that fuel can be 1 leu“, Călin Georgescu also said.

The former presidential candidate proposes a direct involvement of the citizen in the decision-making process, so that national resources can no longer be alienated through political decisions taken “over the head” the people. Asked how these resources will be administered after nationalization, Georgescu proposed a new model: “They are owned and administered democratically, that is, through participatory democracy. So we don't call the Romanian people once every four years to give them something, but we call them daily. They must participate in the good of the city.”

During the show, Georgescu harshly criticized the Government's financial priorities, criticizing the amounts directed to Ukraine at the expense of Romanian education and health.

There will be inability to pay, Romania will enter with certainty. […] If you struggle with health and education as much as we give, but you give them to the others (Ukraine) instantly, without any kind of debate, then it means that everything is dust and powder“, commented Georgescu.

The prophecy about the end of April related to the base from Mihail Kogălniceanu and cherry blossoms

One of the most enigmatic moments of the interview was the one related to the military infrastructure. Georgescu suggested that Ursula von der Leyen's visit to the Mihail Kogălniceanu base would hide details, criticizing the fact that the European Union leader chose to go to a military base instead of having an official reception in the Capital.

Sebastian Ghiță claims that he was visited by Călin Georgescu, who asked him to arrange a meeting with “Russians and Serbs”. The reaction of the former candidate

“On September 1 last year, Ursula von der Leyen was seen at the Kogălniceanu base with Nicușor Dan. Why, sir, did no one in the Romanian media understand and talk about this topic? Do you know, first of all, that you cannot see yourself at a base, however, somewhat military… You are the head of the European Union, you come to Bucharest, you come to the capital of the country. That is how it has always been. Why there?”

Asked what he thinks is hidden there, Georgescu referred to the center of operations or obscure interests affecting the whole of Europe. Instead of concrete statements, Georgescu resorted to parables and symbols, to indicate the moment when the “truth” will come out: “Maybe he needed to see if everything was very well hidden. The Kogălniceanu base is the key to the mess in the European Union. And the cherry blossoms, do you know when? Around the end of April. So… We'll find out more at cherry blossom time“, he declared, leaving room for interpretation.

Gloomy predictions: “The energy crisis will sweep the European Union”

In addition to internal solutions, Georgescu presented an apocalyptic picture for the community block. In his opinion, the European Union has lost its ability to manage overlapping crises and is heading for a total collapse, marked by major shortages.

“The energy crisis will sweep the European Union. 100%. There will be food famine and energy famine. It is no longer able to manage the situation. Europe, today, is in a very pitiful situation; it is on the ground“, Georgescu also declared.

“Certainties” about returning to the second round

The former election candidate claims that current political forces have launched a “public lynching” campaign against him, fearing a possible return to the front line of politics. Călin Georgescu let it be understood that the current political situation is provisional and that he is counting on a restoration of the annulled electoral result: “On December 6, there was a moral cataclysm from which we must clearly recover. They are not hopes, they are certainties. We'll have round two back. I told you how things are from the point of view of the evolution of the situation.”

Asked, at the end of the interview, if he will take revenge on those who blocked his ascension, Georgescu chose a spiritual note, citing Christian forgiveness: “The strongest man in the history of the world loved, comforted, cried. And in the last moments he cried Father, forgive him, I don't know what I'm doing. That's all.”
