Russian and Soviet musician Boris Grebenshchikov received British citizenship. This was reported by the Russian publication Meduza, citing the propaganda news agency RIA Novosti.
RIA Novosti drew attention to the British register of company reporting.
It turned out that the company BG PLUS LLP, established in 2022, filed documents on March 16, 2026 to change the personal data of the founders, Boris and Irina Grebenshchikov. The notice states that the musician and his wife have become British citizens.
As Meduza noted, their personal sources confirmed information about Grebenshchikov receiving British citizenship.
