The Putinist Basque unexpectedly received gratitude from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. What did he do

“Well, tell me, what are you doing?” – wrote Baskov.

“Nikolai, on behalf of the entire Ukrainian people, we express our sincere gratitude for the millions in donations in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Special thanks for providing the coordinates of military strategic objects that are especially important for the Russian Federation. The guys worked successfully, and your award awaits you in Ukraine. It’s not for nothing that you were once recognized as a People’s Artist of Ukrainewe always knew that you would thank us,” Dunaenko addressed Baskov.

The singer, probably afraid that all Russians would know about his “support” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, deleted the comment from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

But it only took four minutes for netizens to screenshot the comment and now it lives your own life online.

“Can you imagine how he shit himself after reading this?” – reacted online.

“Ungrateful Ukrainians. Why did you hand over Kolya? Now no one will want to help you,” they say ironically online.

The initiative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine was also supported by Ukrainian defenders.

Context

Basque February 25, 2022 on Instagram came out in support of full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine.

In his publication, Baskov quoted the statement of the illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin “about the start of a special military operation,” after which Russian troops shelled Ukrainian cities, committing an invasion of a sovereign state.

In particular, Baskov said that he considers the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine “a peacekeeping operation and the prevention of an attack on Russia.”

On March 7, 2022, a court in Ukraine allowed Baskov to be detained for supporting the war. In November 2023, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree introducing the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to deprive state awards of traitors of Ukraine, among whom Basque was listed.
