Iran's targets include, among others: Israel, and it was over this country that a spectacular space explosion took place, resulting from the interception of an Iranian ballistic missile. The recording is taking over social media and has already been viewed at least several hundred thousand times.

Even the best air shield does not provide complete safety

In the video, we are most likely watching the Israeli Arrow 3 system in actionwhich is part of the local air shield. It consists of four anti-aircraft defense systems (“Iron Dome”, “David's Slingshot”, Arrow 2 and Arrow 3) that attack enemy targets at different heights.

According to Israel himself, Arrow 3 it can even be used to destroy satellites and is capable of striking targets at an altitude of over 100 km, i.e. at the edge of space. Until recently, it was also the only country with such an arsenal, but recently Germany has also been included on this list, having purchased it as part of a contract worth USD 3.5 billion. Israel is also already working on the next version of this weapon – the Arrow 4 system is intended to defend Israel even against hypersonic missiles.

At the same time, it must be added that even such an extensive air shield does not ensure 100% safety. This was demonstrated in the last hours when an Iranian missile penetrated Israeli defenses.
