In Krasnoyarsk, inspections of the condition of public spaces developed under the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” program of the national projects “Housing and Urban Environment” and “Infrastructure for Living” have begun.
The mayor's office said that administration specialists are now organizing trips to various parks and public gardens in all districts of the city. The employees have special control over objects that were landscaped 3-5 years ago and are under warranty from contractors.
During inspections in Krasnoyarsk, the condition of coverings, trash bins, benches, children's and sports grounds is checked. A little later, when it gets warmer, experts will begin to record how trees, shrubs and lawns survived the winter. Contractors will correct all deficiencies at their own expense.
Let us remind you that the program “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” has been implemented in the regional capital since 2017. The first object where large-scale improvement took place was the Central Yenisei embankment. In total, 98 public spaces were improved in the city during the implementation of the project.
New embankments, large parks with well-thought-out infrastructure, modern children's and sports grounds have appeared in Krasnoyarsk. Among them: Yaryginskaya embankment, Solnechnaya Polyana park, Kachi embankment named after. Pimashkova, “Green Coast” space, walking areas near lakes in the microdistrict. Pashenny and Vetluzhanka, Sibstal Park and the embankment named after. Khazret Sovmena.
This year, seven more parks, squares and embankments will be added to them, as well as the Zlobinsky square in Berezovka, which has become part of greater Krasnoyarsk. Contractors have already been selected for their improvement. Work will begin as soon as weather permits.
All objects are selected by voting. Hundreds of thousands of citizens take part in it every year. From April 21 to June 12, 2026, such voting will again be organized on the gorodsreda.ru platform. Already now those interested can offer objects.
In addition, as part of the preparation of Krasnoyarsk for the 400th anniversary, since last year the city has been updating and modernizing public gardens that were previously landscaped according to the project. Work has already been carried out in Chernyshevsky Park in the microdistrict. Pokrovka and Kirovsky Square. This year’s plans include updating the squares “Festivalny”, “Sloboda Vesny”, Journalists, “Yunga”, “Odessky”, “Lilac” and many others.
