The atmosphere remains closed on Monday, especially in the southern regions of the country, where light rain is expected throughout the day. In the rest of the territory, the weather will be sunny and temperatures will rise, which can reach 16 degrees Celsius in northwestern Romania. The lowest values, around 6 degrees, will be recorded in depression areas.

In Dobrogea and Bărăgan, the sky will be covered with clouds, and the rains will appear temporarily. The wind is intensifying and can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h. Temperatures rise slightly compared to the previous day, reaching 11–12 degrees at lunchtime.

Weather in Moldova

In the south of Moldova and the north of Muntenia, the sky will be variable, with clouds and isolated light rains, but also with passing appearances of the sun. The wind will blow moderately, and the highs will reach 13-14 degrees. In the north of Moldova and Bucovina, the weather will be changeable, without precipitation, but with temperatures falling during the night, down to 0 degrees, with foggy conditions.

The weather in Transylvania

In the north of Transylvania and Maramureș, the day will be relatively pleasant, with sun and passing clouds. Temperatures will exceed normal values ​​for this period, reaching 16 degrees. In the rest of the region, the sky will be more cloudy, with possible light rain in places. In depressions, the weather cools down, and on Wednesday Ciuc, maximums of only 6 degrees are expected. In the mountains, at high altitudes, there will be mixed precipitation, in the form of sleet and snow.

The weather in Oltenia and the south of the country

In Oltenia, the atmosphere remains cloudy, and rain will occur throughout the day. Temperatures remain at values ​​similar to those of Sunday, around 11-12 degrees, and precipitation continues during the night, when 5-6 degrees will be recorded. In the south of the country, the weather will be colder than normal for the period, with maximums of no more than 11 degrees.

Weather in Bucharest

In the Capital, the sky will remain cloudy, and light rains will appear temporarily. The wind will be light and the maximum temperature will reach about 11 degrees, slightly below the average for the period.

How the weather develops in the coming days

The weather will gradually warm up from Tuesday, when temperatures will rise to 17 degrees and the sun will make an appearance. Wednesday will be a variable day, without precipitation, and on Thursday temperatures can reach 18 degrees, approaching the specific values ​​of April. However, towards the end of the week, clouds return and foggy episodes are possible.

Mountain weather

In the mountains, Monday will be closed, with light precipitation, especially in the Southern and Curbura Carpathians. At over 1,400 meters altitude, they will be in the form of sleet and snow. The weather warms up slightly on Tuesday, but from Thursday the wind intensifies and the precipitation spreads in several mountain massifs.
