In Krasnoyarsk, the accrual of fines for vandal inscriptions on houses was suspended

In Krasnoyarsk, they have temporarily stopped fining management companies and homeowners for untimely removal of graffiti from the walls of houses. This decision was made by Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin after complaints from citizens.
Earlier, residents of several houses complained in the city mayor’s chat that they had received letters of happiness through State Services. The resolutions indicated that the offense was recorded by an automatic camera, and responsibility was placed on the owners who did not ensure that the inscriptions were painted over. It turned out to be difficult to appeal the fines – to do this you need to go to court.
Vereshchagin ordered to pause the process and refine the mechanism. The administration is now preparing changes to the city's landscaping rules. It is planned to introduce a specific period within which the management company or owners must remove illegal inscriptions. At the same time, advertising of prohibited substances, according to the mayor, must be eliminated immediately.
It is important that uniform rules will apply both to houses with management companies and to those where residents manage themselves. It is recommended to paint over the inscriptions with paint in the color of the facade.
The authorities also intend to more actively combat the vandals themselves. Management companies recommend installing CCTV cameras with integration into the Safe City system – this will help to quickly find violators.
