In Krasnoyarsk, the head of the coloproctology department of a hospital and a local resident are suspected of bribery. This was reported to the regional Investigative Committee.

According to investigators, in March 2026, the head of the hospital department, through his 54-year-old acquaintance, agreed with a resident of Krasnoyarsk to receive a bribe for issuing a false medical report about the citizen’s gastrointestinal tract disease.

On March 18, the Krasnoyarsk resident transferred funds in the amount of 1 million rubles to the intermediary. 700 thousand rubles were intended for the head of the department, and the remaining funds were intended for his accomplice.

“The criminal actions of the head of the department were promptly suppressed by law enforcement officers immediately after the transfer of funds to the intermediary,” the Investigative Committee reported.
