Agribusiness of the Krasnoyarsk Territory offers more than 200 vacancies to young specialists

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory spoke about vacancies in the region’s agribusiness.
The most in demand in the agricultural sector of the region are veterinarians, livestock specialists, agronomists, and engineers. Young personnel are also awaited in the food processing industry – technologists, logisticians, and marketers are needed here. Internships at enterprises and meetings with employers help graduates decide on their future place of work.
One of these platforms was the personnel forum “Career Day in the Agro-Industrial Complex”, which was held at the Krasnoyarsk Agrarian University. Students and potential employers met here, including the Krasnoyarsky pig farm, the Maltat fish farming enterprise, the Barkhatov poultry farm, the Komandor holding, YarKhleb, Logic of Milk, Rosselkhozbank, the Regional Veterinary Supervision Service and others.
“The agricultural industry is actively developing. The region's enterprises produce not only raw materials; the food processing industry does not stand still either – we see our local products on store shelves. Agribusiness needs active, qualified specialists. This is an area where the knowledge and skills of graduates will definitely be in demand,” noted Oksana Divnogortseva, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
University graduates who today are successfully building a career at regional enterprises in the industry shared their work experience.
“I am here to tell the youth: don’t be afraid of working in agriculture. Now it is a developed industry. We have a great atmosphere, we find a common language with management and offer modern solutions based on our knowledge,” said Daria Malova, a fish farming technician at Maltat LLC.
The regional project “Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex” is being implemented in the region within the framework of the national project “Technological support for food security”. Agricultural enterprises are compensated for the costs of student contracts and contracts for targeted training, payment for internships and student accommodation.
There are also a number of regional measures to support entry-level workers in the industry. Every graduate of an agricultural university or technical school who gets a job at an enterprise in a rural area is entitled to a million rubles in allowance. For farmers who hire a young specialist, the state reimburses 70% of the costs of paying increased wages. Support is provided for five years, so young people can count on a salary no lower than that of experienced workers.
A significant incentive for young families and professionals choosing between the city and the countryside is assistance to improve their living conditions. The region reimburses young people 50% of the costs of building or purchasing housing. Support is provided for the construction (purchase) of housing for employees of state veterinary institutions in the region, cities of the Far North and similar territories.
“We are really looking forward to the current graduates. The company is developing, over the past two years it has undergone reconstruction and commissioned five new buildings. We have high-tech equipment that requires qualified specialists for maintenance. These are mechanics, electricians, technologists. We plan to launch deep processing of our products. There is never a dull moment in agriculture; something new is constantly appearing. Therefore, we pay great attention to the professional growth of our employees. We invite guys to come to us for internships and employment,” said Ulyana Kuznetsova, director of Barkhatovskaya Poultry Farm JSC.
