Another accident occurred on the Krasnoyarsk Railway due to the fault of a pedestrian violator.

On March 19, at about 4 p.m. in the village of Zykovo, a man tried to run across the tracks right in front of an approaching passenger train and was injured.

“The unfortunate runner, risking his life, literally ran across the speeding train. The driver immediately applied the emergency brake, but at such a short distance it was impossible to avoid a collision. The man was thrown to the side by the impact of the locomotive. It was only by a miracle that he survived!” the press service of Krasnodar Railways said and published a video of the incident.

The railway workers called an ambulance, which took the victim to the hospital.

“We note that since the beginning of this year, three people have died on the tracks in the Krasnoyarsk Territory due to unjustified risk, inattention and the desire to slip through, and two more were seriously injured. “Remember, the train cannot be stopped instantly! Take care of yourself, follow the rules, never cross the railway in front of an approaching train,” reads the KrasRussian Railways message.
