Krasnoyarsk customs officers seized a batch of cameras from a Chinese resident and gave them to the military

March 19 19:00

Customs officers at the Krasnoyarsk airport handed over to the Ministry of Defense a batch of electronics that was seized from a passenger arriving from Beijing.

The foreigner tried to smuggle 20 cameras, 13 chargers and seven portable batteries without declaration. The total cost of the equipment exceeded 150 thousand rubles.

As Komsomolskaya Pravda – Krasnoyarsk writes, the man explained to customs the presence of the cargo as a collection, but this does not relieve him of the obligation to declare the goods.

A report was drawn up against him under the article of non-declaration, and the court confiscated all the products. Now it has been handed over to the military.
