Several residents of Krasnoyarsk immediately complained to the head of the city in the chat that they received fines without warning for vandal inscriptions on houses.

Based on photographs he took ofThe city administrative commission brought the owners to justice, they received “letters of happiness” through Gosuslugi about paying a fine of 1,500 rubles perEnsuring the elimination of unauthorized inscriptions.
People are angry thatThey didn’t look for the Andal artists and decided to punish the owners themselves. At the same time OIt turned out to be difficult to appeal fines: you need to go to court with an application and a package of documents, wasting time, money and nerves.
Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin responded to the victims’ appeals and instructed those in charge to look into the situation:
“I understand the indignation of Krasnoyarsk residents. Especially those who do not have a criminal code in their house and the tenants must pay the fine. I gave instructions to pause this process and refine the mechanism. The most important thing is to introduce a specific deadline for cleaning various inscriptions on the facades. Of course, work, especially in terms of combating advertising of prohibited substances, must be continued. The reaction here must be immediate. An important role is played by the assistance of the residents themselves, who can report such signals to the Criminal Code. And the main thing is that together with the police it is necessary to work to eliminate the cause of graffiti, to look for and punish vandals. There is positive experience in this area: recently, law enforcement officers opened a criminal case for advertising prohibited substances on the walls of buildings; the offender faces up to 20 years in prison.”
