Investigators are establishing the circumstances of a man’s fatal injury by a freight train on the railroad in Krasnoyarsk.
It all happened on February 17 at about 11 pm at the Severnaya station. The pedestrian died on the spot from his injuries. reported to the Transport Investigative Committee.
Currently, a procedural check is being carried out under the article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport), the reasons for the incident are being determined. Based on the results, a procedural decision will be made.
Residents are reminded that the railway is a high-risk zone and violation of the rules of conduct near it is fraught with danger to life and health. It is necessary to cross tracks only in places designated for this purpose and at an authorized traffic light, after reliably making sure that there is no approaching train.
