The cosmetologist explained whether Botox injections will stop the development of wrinkles at a young age

Early Botox injections will not help prevent the appearance of wrinkles and are most often not justified from a medical point of view. Cosmetologist Irina Bystrova spoke about this in an interview with NEWS.ru, her words were quoted by the Saratov 24 TV channel.

According to the specialist, Botox actually reduces the activity of facial muscles and prevents the formation of persistent wrinkles, but if there are no wrinkles yet, the procedure remains only an aesthetic choice and not a necessity. Even small doses of the drug can reduce muscle mobility, which affects natural facial expressions and expression of emotions.
Bystrova also warned of possible risks: although serious side effects are rare, allergic reactions and facial asymmetry cannot be ruled out. In addition, with regular injections, sensitivity to the drug may decrease, and higher doses will be required over time.
Before deciding on the early use of Botox, the cosmetologist advises to undergo a thorough examination and consult a specialist.
