“Inter can only lose the title if they bring back Inzaghi! Journalists in Italy don't deserve people like Chivu”

Antonio Cassano no longer has any doubts about the team that will be champions. The former Italian striker goes hand in hand with Inter and coach Cristi Chivu, considering that the fate of the title has already been decided after Milan's failure with Lazio: “Only if they bring back Simone Inzaghi can the ranking be overturned.”
After the 28th stage, in which Inter drew on Saturday with Atalanta on “Giuseppe Meazza” (1-1), and rival Milan lost on Sunday on “Olimpico”, 0-1 with Lazio, the distance between the first two places increased again and reached eight points in favor of the team prepared by Cristi Chivu.
Cassano: “Inter are by far the best. They will win the title”
In Antonio Cassano's opinion, the advantage of the Nerazzurri is impossible to recover from the scudetto contenders. Interviewed on the “Viva El Futbol” podcast at the Arcimboldi Theater in Milan, the former Italian striker also spoke about Inter, as usual in a very direct way.
“Inter can only lose the title if they re-employ Inzaghi. They are by far the best team and will win the championship. AC Milan found themselves there despite playing terribly, in a manner worthy of contempt.
Cristi Chivu commented on the draw obtained by Inter in Como, score 0-0, in the first leg of the semi-final of the Italian Cup.
They should have conceded six goals against Como and should have lost the derby in the round. How could Inter escape the title?”, explained Antonio Casaano bluntly.
He did not miss the opportunity to praise Chivu again: “I like him very much. After 13 games at Parma, he has done an exceptional job. He has only been training for a quarter of an hour and he is doing a fantastic job with many players in decline, many with contracts at the end, who were coming after a tough defeat.
“He's a fantastic coach and a top person, like Fabregas”
And then he couldn't work much at first, given that the Club World Championship started immediately. A fantastic coach and a person of the highest level, just like Fabregas. In Italy, journalists don't deserve people like them, but people like Allegri and Mourinho, who make scenes.

He also wanted to comment on the controversial refereeing decisions of the last weekend: “First of all, we have to give up VAR, I've been saying this from the beginning. It's useless, it's useless. It was an obvious penalty for Inter, and Dumfries was touched. It's never a simulation!
Regarding the foul in the Frattesi box… I can understand that the referee didn't see it if it was weak, but what were the guys in the VAR room doing? In my opinion, you have to think about bad faith.
If a player is weak, he stays at home, and so does a coach. If they continue, however… La Penna, for example, returned and even yesterday he did nonsense”.
