Iuliu Muresan, the president of the club CFR Clujclaims that midfielder Lindon Emerllahu, wanted by FCSBwill not reach the court of the champion. The official from Gruia revealed the minimum price that will be accepted for the Kosovar and strongly stated that he will leave in January.
Gigi Becali, the owner of the FCSB champion, wanted Lindon Emerllahu and Louis Munteanu, two of CFR's core players, but none of the tracks materialized.
Now, Iuliu Muresan says that the subject of Emerllahu at FCSB is closed, talking about interest from across borders for the Kosovar midfielder. The president of the CFR also revealed the minimum amount for which he will be allowed to leave: 1.5 million euros.
“FCSB? Topic closed!” » Lindon Emerllahu will leave CFR Cluj, but abroad
“I think the matter is closed, in the sense that he does not reach FCSB. We have offers from other places for him. He is a very good player. We want 1.5 million or more. Less certainly notbecause it is of very good quality. He is also young, he has a good age.
It's really a small amount, but our share has dropped a bit because of the latest results. We will probably slowly increase our share and be able to sell at prices closer to value.
It's hard, yes, and how it looks [situația] and what financial needs we have, we will have to sell 1-2 more players [în iarnă]“, said Muresan to fanatik.ro.
As GSP.ro informed us a week ago, for Emerllahu there is interest from Ukraine and Germany.
Ballkani kept a percentage of the resale
When agreeing to sell Emerllahu to CFR Cluj, FC Ballkani retained 15% of the federation rights to the player, meaning that will collect 15% of the transfer amount for which he will leave Gruia.
Precisely for this reason, CFR Cluj is trying to maximize the transfer amount, to go up to two million eurosto keep as much money as possible after settling their accounts with Ballkani.
According to GSP information, the contract between CFR and Emerllahu also provides for a termination clause, worth 1.8 million euros. A transfer for this amount would mean that Ballkani would collect 270,000 of the total.
Arriving in Cluj-Napoca in February, Emerllahu played 37 times for CFR, contributing 9 goals and decisive assists. At 22 years old, he already has 12 matches for the Kosovo senior national team.
